After my son didn't like his experience with his first driving instructor (refused to go back after one lesson) we met Helen at the council's Driver Direction's Day for young drivers.  My son told me afterwards that she was the one he wanted as his driving instructor. 🙂 Helen is fun, very knowledgeable and reliable.  She did a great job with my son, he loved it and passed his driving exam right away.  A perfect experience, thank you, Helen - we also really appreciated you coming to his exam as well!🙏❤

We met Helen at Driver Directions at Mamaku after my daughter had just got her Learners Licence. Helen had a calming influence and nothing seemed to phase her too much, teaching so many little things I had forgotten over the years. Several months later we booked in a couple of lessons before she sat her restricted test. Helen helped polish up on some of the skills and reassured us my daughter was more than ready to sit the test. Suggesting a lesson with myself or her immediately before the test to calm the nerves which was fantastic advice. Thanks Helen for everything!

Recently having moved from South Africa, my parents did not know the New Zealand driving requirements to pass a restricted driving test. We made contact with Helen and she immediately came back to us with availability dates and times for a driving lessons. In one single lesson, she taught me everything I needed to know and do in order to pass my driving test. Without her, I never would have passed the first time. She made sure i was comfortable before asking anything of me behind me wheel and took me along some of the routes frequently used in the test. If it wasn't for Helen's guidance, compassion she really went above and beyond helping me by getting my son to and from the testing destination.
