Helen is amazing - consistently goes above and beyond and help 2 of my kids get their restricted licences so far. She even went so far as to take my daughter all the way to Tokoroa for her test and supported her through that. Cannot praise her highly enough and would recommend to anyone.

Greetings from Sydney, and I hope this finds you well. Just the other day I completed a 10-day solo road trip around Tasmania. I did a full circuit around Tassie and drove 1,600 km. It took a day or two to feel settled and comfortable driving on the left, but it definitely would have taken much longer without your super helpful lessons.

After my son didn't like his experience with his first driving instructor (refused to go back after one lesson) we met Helen at the council's Driver Direction's Day for young drivers. My son told me afterwards that she was the one he wanted as his driving instructor. 🙂

We met Helen at Driver Directions at Mamaku after my daughter had just got her Learners Licence. Helen had a calming influence and nothing seemed to phase her too much, teaching so many little things I had forgotten over the years.
Several months later we booked in a couple of lessons before she sat her restricted test. Helen helped polish up on some of the skills and reassured us my daughter was more than ready to sit the test. Suggesting a lesson with myself or her immediately before the test to calm the nerves which was fantastic advice.

Recently having moved from South Africa, my parents did not know the New Zealand driving requirements to pass a restricted driving test. We made contact with Helen and she immediately came back to us with availability dates and times for a driving lessons. In one single lesson, she taught me everything I needed to know and do in order to pass my driving test. Without her, I never would have passed the first time. She made sure i was comfortable before asking anything of me behind me wheel and took me along some of the routes frequently used in the test. I enjoyed my driving lesson with such a kind, passionate driving instructor.

I just want to say a massive shout out to Helen. I can not thank her enough for the love and support she gave me by getting my son though to receiving his restricted license. If it wasn't for Helen's guidance, compassion she really went above and beyond helping me by getting my son to and from the testing destination. Making sure he was fully prepared, I unfortunately couldn't be there with him, but I just knew he would be absolutely fine with Helen at his side. Her kindness and understanding when it comes to teenager's is just outstanding. I recommend Helen to anyone whos son or daughter is going through the emotions of getting there licenses.
